Project Health CV's annual fundraising gala promises an evening of inspiration, community, and celebration with a mission to make a difference in the health care system of Cape Verde.
Why We Gather
Honoring our interpreters, the glue of every mission who carry language, culture, and trust
This year's gala is dedicated to the people who don't always get the spotlight:
medical interpreters. They're in the room for the hardest conversations, the best news, and everything in between — making sure language is never the barrier between a patient and the care they need. This October, we're gathering to say thank you.
Our interpreters will join us to share real, sometimes funny, always meaningful stories from the exam room. It's a night built around them and around everything Project Health CV does to make healthcare access real for Cabo Verdean communities, locally and abroad.
What to Expect
Event Highlights
The evening includes:
- Cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres
- A seated dinner
- An interpreter storytelling program — the heart of the night
- A giving moment dedicated to interpreter services and mission work
- Live DJ and dancing
- A few surprises we're not ready to announce yet
